Is tipping expected?

Tipping is customary in Morocco but discretionary. If you were happy with the guiding, a tip is welcome and not built into the published rate.

Getting to the stables

Rides depart from Diabat, about 3 km south of Essaouira's medina. A blue petit taxi from Bab Doukkala or Bab Marrakech takes roughly 5–7 minutes and costs about 20–30 DH each way. Factor that into your budget.
